Then
said he to them, But now, he that has a purse, let him take it, and
likewise his money: and he that has no sword, let him sell his garment,
and buy one. Lu 22:36
The LORD is a man
of war: the LORD is his name. Ex 15:3
Think not that I am come
to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.
Mt 10:34
Blessed are the
peacemakers: for they shall be called the children of God.
Mt 5:9
BATTLE-LINES

The peacemaker's blessed by Christ
in the beatitude of the sermon on the mount are the true believers
who realize their calling is to sell all they have and buy their
pearl of great price, the knowledge and tools of the sword that
defends the kingdom of God these two thousand years against
Christendom's enemies, foreign and domestic, hence the truth of the
justified Christian Holy War.
Am I a soldier of the cross,
A follower of the Lamb?
And shall I fear to own His cause
Or blush to speak His name in the face of unchristian tyranny
undefied?
The answer to the question of
solving "Murphy's Law," if it can go wrong, it will, is to always
hope for the best and prepare for the worst. - Richard Gallaher.
"We sleep safely in our beds
because rough men stand ready in the night
to visit violence upon those who would harm us..."
To a hostile assembly at
University of California, Berkley: There are no adults here. The
only adults I have ever known are in the military ( implied: the
educated military mind.) - Orson Wells
No man has ever argued
against guns when he needed one, especially in the self defense of
his family. - Author unknown
When is our army going to show
up? - quoted by a holocaust survivor overhearing a young small boy
in a Nazi Labor Camp.
When the brave come to
clarity regarding what must be done, they realize they have no
choice but to act.
Without enforcement, there is no
law. - George Washington
The price of self government
(liberty) is the struggle of self-defense.
In War: Resolution. In Defeat:
Defiance. In Victory: Magnanimity. In Peace: Goodwill.
FATE:
Unawareness is fate.
Unconsciousness is fate.
Anatomy is fate.
Weakness of decent character is fate.
Cowardliness, ignorance and meanness is fate.
Where the brave have clarity is fate.
To be controlled by rewards or punishments and not noble Christian
virtues/principles which demand the preparation of martyrdom is fate,
now and in the life to come.
To not know how to war for one's self, family, tribe or nation, that
is, to be unprepared for the enemy by not being made wise by
experience/training in the matters of when to wisely flee, stand
one's ground, or to attack with skill and total determination at the
proper moment, is the fate of the slave or the exterminated.
War is an ugly thing, but not
the ugliest of things. The decayed and degraded state of moral and
patriotic feeling which thinks that nothing is worse than war is
much worse. The person who has nothing for which he is willing to
fight, nothing which is more important than his own personal safety,
is a miserable creature and has no chance of being free unless made
so and kept so by the exertions of better men than himself.
John Stuart Mill (1806-1873)
"We sleep safely in
our beds because rough men stand ready in the night to visit
violence upon those who would harm us..."
